Cr Ann Potter

Hume CIty Council will conduct a postal ballot election in October 2020.

I seek your support for re-election.

It is vital that our Council maintains stability and experience, COVID has created many challenges or our community, and I'm proud to have been part of a group of committed hardworking Councillors that have worked together for the benefit of our community.

I understand the day to day stresses that families struggle with. Our community should be represented by a person with a range of interests, and who is involved in many community groups. I have been a member of the Sunbury Festival Committee; Sunbury Junior Football Club; Vice-President of Sunbury Downs College Council; Sunbury Secondary Schools Steering Committee; and Sunbury Cemetery Trust, amongst many others. I currently volunteer as the Webmaster for U3A Sunbury.

I am a proud member of Hume City Council, and have seen many of my priority projects secured for the people of Sunbury, including free tip passes and hard rubbish collection, and the major traffic works which continue today: traffic lights at the Mitchells Lane/Vineyard Road intersection and the Station Street/Evans Street intersection.

There is more to do! I commit to ensuring a multi-dack car park is built on Council land near the Sunbury Railway Station.

I currently volunteer as the Webmaster for Sunbury U3A.

Jacksons Creek Ward still needs a councillor who has proven that she works as part of a team; a councillor who is respected, both by the community and her fellow councillors.
